About Me

I am a member of the The Royal College of Occupational Therapist (RCOT) with an Honours degree in Occupational Therapy and registered with the Health and Care Professionals Council (HCPC)

My Approach

The basis of neurodivergent-affirming approach comes from the neurodiversity paradigm. The idea behind the neurodiversity paradigm is that neurodivergent conditions such as; ADHD, Autism, Dyslexia, and others are all variations in how children experience the world, and this should be fully accepted and embraced. With acceptance and understanding, children and their families are able to thrive, progress and achieve in all environments.

I strongly believe that you and your child should be at the centre of the therapy journey, and that it is essential for therapy to be tailored and directed according to the unique needs of each family. My main area of expertise is in treating and supporting children with a diagnosis of autism of spectrum disorder as well as those with neurodiversity and/or not meeting their developmental milestones.

Occupational Therapy is a fun experience, and I use the child’s strengths and interests to support participation.
